Student Organizations

It is the mission of the ASME Club at the University of Washington Bothell to provide enriching experiences and activities to engineering students, and those interested in the STEM fields. The experiences will help grow their professional skills while developing a strong sense of social entrepreneurship. The relationships formed through experiences with: guest speakers, professional development, technical projects, community engagement, student advocacy and a focus on diversity in the ME program will help our members gain valuable insight for their future careers.

SME is committed to creating educational and career opportunities to benefit UWB students. We plan events such as tours of local facilities, networking career fairs, and other professional development events.

UW MTS is the community of students, engineers, technologists, policy-makers, and student educators. Our mission is to:

Facilitate a broader understanding of the relevance of marine technology to wider global issues by enhancing the dissemination of marine technology information.

Promote and improve marine technology and related educational programs.

Advance the development of the tools and procedures required to explore, study and further the responsible and sustainable use of the oceans.

We are a team of self-motivated university students, working to apply our skills outside the classroom. Part of our mission is to connect with our community through STEM outreach. Members are engaged in a hands-on tam setting, and can apply skills in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, along with manufacturing, business, marketing fields.
