GMAT/GRE Waiver

*NEW:  NO GMAT REQUIRED for 2020 APPLICATIONS

 

*2020 Applicants: The GMAT/GRE requirement has been suspended for 2020 applications as a special consideration during the current health crisis. If you already have test scores, you may apply with them if desired.  No GMAT or GRE test scores are now required for Fall, 2020 applications. Questions?  Contact vickit@uw.edu.

2021 Applicants: Any future GMAT or GRE requirement will be announced in Autumn, 2020. You may apply any time now for 2021 and will be informed if test scores will be required for your application.

 

PRIOR GMAT/GRE waiver request:

An applicant may request to receive a GMAT/GRE waiver with one or more of the following degrees and a minimum of 2 years professional work experience.

    Master’s or Ph.D. degrees in:

  • Science, technology, engineering, math, business or other related quantitative fields.
  • M.D. and Pharm.D.
  • For other specialized graduate degrees, please enquire.

     An applicant may also receive a waiver with:

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) designations.
  • Extensive professional experience (generally 10+ years) or unique circumstances. (Note: GPA is also considered).

Note that acceptance or denial of a waiver request is not an indication of acceptance or denial of an application.
