GMAT/GRE Waiver

2021 Applicants:  The GMAT/GRE requirement was temporarily suspended for Autumn Quarter, 2020 applications as a special consideration due to the Covid-19 health situation.  Any 2021 GMAT or GRE requirement will be announced soon in Autumn, 2020. You may apply now for 2021 and will be informed if test scores will be required for your 2021 application. Questions?  Contact vickit@uw.edu.

PRIOR GMAT/GRE waiver request:

If GMAT/GRE test scores are required for 2021 applications, an applicant may request to receive a GMAT/GRE waiver with one or more of the following criteria and a minimum of 2 years professional work experience.

    Master’s or Ph.D. degrees in:

  • Science, technology, engineering, math, business or other related quantitative fields.
  • M.D. and Pharm.D.
  • For other specialized graduate degrees, please enquire.

An applicant may also receive a waiver with:

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) designations.
  • Extensive professional experience (generally 10+ years) or unique circumstances. (Note: GPA is also considered).

Note that acceptance or denial of a waiver request is not an indication of acceptance or denial of an application.
