Embedded tutoring services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilitating small-group work and in-class support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clarifying concepts, course material, and methods connected to classwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guiding student through materials for specific tasks and assignments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using questioning techniques to help students activate and build their own understanding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explanation of quantitative concepts, theories and formulas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading peer-review sessions in the classroom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modeling of learning strategies and study skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Embedded tutors participate in ongoing professional development to hone(?) their pedagogical approach to learning. They work closely with faculty to meet the students in both skill level and engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embedded tutors are an effective way to extend your instructional reach without adding to your workload.
