We give particular focus to:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\t\n<li>Purposes of education in a social and political democracy<\/li>\n\n\t\n<li>Responsibilities of universities to collaborate with community partners<\/li>\n\n\t\n<li>Critical roles of professional educators in supporting equity in learning<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Students completing a School of Educational Studies degree or certification program will develop a project documenting growth and demonstrating learning and knowledge across core educational concepts and themes. This project will take the form of a portfolio, capstone project, or dossier. We are here to help you.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Support &#8211; Open Learning Lab<\/h3>\n\n<p>Students have access to great tutors and assistance for students at the<span> <\/span><a href=\"\/digital-learning\/digital-media\/digital-media-services\">Open Learning Lab<\/a>, located in UW2-140, weekdays during the academic quarters.
