{"id":5174,"date":"2010-04-22T15:37:10","date_gmt":"2010-04-22T15:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=5174"},"modified":"2023-10-19T14:09:20","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T21:09:20","slug":"technology-purchase-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/it\/about-it\/guidelines\/technology-purchase-policy","title":{"rendered":"Technology Purchasing Guideline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n         <h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\nTechnology Purchasing Guideline\n<\/h1>\n\n\n\n        <p>UW Bothell faculty and staff should consult with IT before purchasing any technology that will be owned by UW, including computers, printers, mobile devices, software, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Working with IT on technology purchases allows us to offer guidance on the technologies we support, our recommendations, and creates an opportunity to work around potential issues ahead of time (ie, compatibility problems).<\/p>\n<p>In most cases, IT is responsible for completing purchases with your approval and budget number, inventory, and other record keeping.
