Canvas is the official learning management system (LMS) of the UW. Students can use Canvas to access course content, submit assignments anytime, anywhere and collaborate with peers and instructors. Canvas is FERPA-compliant,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Canvas Student Guide<\/a> has tutorials on all topics related to Canvas, from editing your settings to submitting an assignment, taking a quiz or exam or participating in a forum discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Canvas Video Guide<\/a> contains short videos in many of the guide topics for students. Poll Everywhere (PE) is a polling to tool to interact with live polls during class or online as a set of polls in a survey. Once your instructor imports all students to their PE group, all students are automatically registered. If you are new to PE, these UW resources will help get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Panopto is a hosting video tool inside Canvas. Your instructor may record class lectures or other videos that you can access and watch in Panopto. If the Panopto Recordings is not visible on the Canvas course navigation menu, it is possible that your instructor is not using this tool.. This resource, View Panopto recordings<\/a>, has information about using Panopto in your courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LinkedIn Learning<\/a> is an on-demand video learning platform to help you develop and enhance skills. All registered students at UW Bothell have access to the Microsoft 365 (M365) online suite of applications <\/p>\n\n\n\n General Information<\/a> on accessing and using the online versions as well as installing Microsoft Office 365<\/a> apps for students. These include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, OneNote and SharePoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Microsoft productivity apps <\/a>are also available with your UW Microsoft account. These include Loop, Planner, To Do, Lists, Stream + ChipChamp (video creation, editor and hosting), Whiteboard, and Forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Canva is a super easy online tool that lets UW students create awesome-looking designs fast.<\/strong> Whether you’re making a flyer for your club, a social media post, or a class presentation, Canva has tons of templates and UW-branded stuff (like logos and colors) ready to go. It helps your work look polished and saves you a bunch of time.
