Hannah is an experienced senior technology leader who is passionate about growing collaborative teams to design and build products that improve people’s lives! Currently, she is a Partner Architect at Microsoft, focused on software and hardware interaction to build software for notetaking and education customers. Hannah is working on the future of Microsoft’s interactive documents, and her latest software product is the new Whiteboard application, a freeform digital canvas that brings people, content, and ideas together.
Previously, Hannah was an innovator leading technical development for Apple’s computers (original Mac Mini & iMacs) and Amazon’s first Kindle products (e-readers and tablets). She also architected technology for global children's literacy projects in developing countries, and made large-scale video LED displays as sets for entertainment groups such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and Coldplay. She runs her own product consulting company, Lewbel Consultancy, and advises companies including WAKE International, a non-profit that provides technical training to global non profits who are combatting women’s rights violations such as gender-based violence and human trafficking. She works closely with schools and universities on STEM programs for women and girls, and is a frequent speaker on product development, technology, and leadership in the tech space.
Hannah graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and from Hackbright Academy’s full stack software development course. In her "free time”, Hannah is mom to 2 very smart kids who try to outsmart her, and is an avid SCUBA diver, skier, world traveler, and underwater photographer.
