UW Bothell has announced that it will discontinue the Inspire STEM Festival.

Over the past four years, thousands of 6-8th grade students primarily from low income and underrepresented groups such as girls and first generation college students from King and Snohomish Counties attended workshops on topics in Life Sciences, Robotics, Technology and Arts and Sciences. The festival also featured an interactive exhibition hall led by sponsors, alumni, and industry and community partners. Keynote speakers included famed astronauts Wendy Lawrence and Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger.
