As a recognized expert in American Studies with a focus on literature and popular music, Roberts has shaped UW Bothell through exceptional mentorship and campus-wide impact, modeling inclusive and anti-racist pedagogy for colleagues and students alike.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Created in 1995, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/academic-affairs\/awards\/dta\">Distinguished Teaching Award<\/a> is presented each year to a UW Bothell faculty member in recognition of teaching that richly exemplifies the high standards at the heart of the academic mission of the University of Washington Bothell.
