IAS welcomes new staff members to its team

November 3, 2014 – IAS welcomes four new (or returning) staff members to our team. Priya Frank is the new Associate Director of Advancement for IAS. A 2011 graduate of the Master of Arts in Cultural Studies, she brings to her new position deep commitments to innovative programs emphasizing access, engagement, education, and inclusion, together with more than nine years of fundraising experience at University of Washington’s UW World Series and Office of Minority Affairs and Advancement. Simone Willynck joins IAS as the new Office Assistant III in the Main Office.  A recent graduate of University of Washington Seattle with a BA in Communication and a minor in Diversity, she served as a mentor and event planner for the Dream Project.  She also brings to her new position over five years’ of office management experience. Michael Won is the new Student Office Assistant for IAS, working the front desk of the UW1 office. He is currently enrolled in the Community Psychology program, and is an active volunteer as a youth mentor in his church.  Finally, Leslie Schiffman has returned to IAS to help with the planning and coordination of our busy faculty search season, along with other related tasks.  Welcome to everyone!
