February 19, 2014 - IAS faculty Aeron Bergman and Alejandra Salinas have launched the Jik Ji Print Studio in Husky Hall 1318. The studio has a Risograph EZ 590 printer, a perfect binder for hard and soft covers, and a paper stack cutter. Risograph is a fast, economic stencil duplication process that uses high quality ink and wax masters. The studio is available to faculty and students to print posters, flyers, multiples, booklets and books. IAS MFA students are currently printing a 200-copy edition of a 60-page journal, Small Po(r)tions, that will debut at the 2014 Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) Conference & Bookfair in Seattle this month. For more information about the studio, contact Bergman or Salinas.
