Mary Howisey leads Alumni Council’s Husky 5K efforts

On Saturday, May 18, more than 1,300 walkers, strollers, joggers and runners will take to the streets of Bothell for the 14th Annual UW Bothell Husky 5k. Amber Shirk recognized as one of Tacoma’s top volunteers

Alum Amber (Monson) Shirk has always been involved in her community, but her engagement has only deepened since graduating from the M.A in Policy Studies (MAPS) program in 2017.
