{"id":1809,"date":"2016-02-12T16:19:25","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T16:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=1809"},"modified":"2025-07-24T17:47:26","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T17:47:26","slug":"student","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/hr\/student","title":{"rendered":"Student"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Employment Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many opportunities for students to gain work skills on the UW Bothell campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/hr\/student\/huskyhires\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">HuskyHires<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/career-services\">Career Services<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New employment eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/admin\/rules\/policies\/EAP\/CH104.html\">UW Employment and Administrative Policies, Chapter 104, Student Employees<\/a>, to hold an appointment with a student job title, a student must be enrolled at the University of Washington and meet the following minimum enrollment requirements<br>\n(not including correspondence credits):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undergraduate students &#8211; 6 credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduate and professional students &#8211; 5 credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ph.D. candidates working on dissertations &#8211; 2 credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Granted &#8220;on leave&#8221; status (see <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/student-employees\/\">Work Hour Limits<\/a> for information about &#8220;on leave&#8221; status and working between quarters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International employment eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is recommended that UW Bothell International students be in contact with the Bothell International Student Services office located in Husky Hall to stay informed about their on-campus work eligibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/international-student-services\/\">International Student Services<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hiring Forms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are hiring a student worker, please <a href=\"https:\/\/uwnetid.sharepoint.com\/sites\/uwbhumanresources\/student_manager\/SitePages\/Hiring%20a%20Student%20Employee.aspx\">visit the Hiring a Student Employee SharePoint page.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student Employment Opportunities There are many opportunities for students to gain work skills on the UW Bothell campus.
