Welcome to the UW Bothell Residential Life program! We’re excited for you to join our community. Below is an overview of some important information regarding your arrival and move into campus. We are excited to have you join our Husky Village Residential Community! To make your move in a breeze, please read ALL of the information below. If you have specific questions about checking in and moving in, please email us at email@example.com.
If you are moving at the begining of the academic year in September, additional information will be emailed to residents and posted here in August prior to opening.
Preparing to move in
At least 48 hours prior to your scheduled check in time at the Residential Life front desk, please make sure you have done the following:
- Complete the Pre-Move In Checklist which will be sent to your UW email. This will include:
- A health and safety pledge
- COVID Policy Updates
- Confirming that you and any person helping you with move in are not symptomatic
- Watch the Move In orientation video .
- Review the What to Bring: Apartment Checklist and the Move In FAQ pages
Pro TIP: Contact your roommates and coordinate what shared space items you want to share in providing in the unit (i.e. microwave, utensils, cookware, etc).
Arriving to move in
On the day that you have been scheduled to check in at the Residential Life front desk in Husky Hall, come directly to the desk in order to pick up your keys. Visit the front desk webpage to learn more about hours, services and location.
If you have trouble finding us, please call the RA on Duty at 206-245-5536.
When you arrive be sure to bring:
- Any government issued photo identification, this includes your Husky Card or drivers' license.
- A face mask for you and each of the individuals helping you move in.
After you’ve moved in
As you get settled in yout new home, make sure to review material in your welcome bag you received at check in and get to know your roommates!
Connect to your WiFi router to make sure you have internet. If you have trouble, please see our Xfinity Troubleshooting Guide on the Apartment Living webpage.
Your RA will be reaching out to you within one day of you moving in to welcome you and provide you with additional information about student housing.
Once the front desk has checked you in, you will begin receiving mail and packages. There are specific mailing addresses that you need to use depending on the type of package. Be sure to reference the front desk webpage for all the details.
Housing payments will be charged to your UW student account. You will be able to see all charges by logging into MyUW at my.uw.edu.

Parking permit information
Residential parking permits for the Husky Village parking lot are managed through Capstone Management Partners. If you have questions or would like to purchase a parking permit, please contact Capstone Management at firstname.lastname@example.org.
