The group was led by current GFO Chair, Tyson Marsh, and included dedicated faculty and staff from across all schools at UWB. The working group focused on identifying bottlenecks, clarifying roles, and proposing ways to shorten the multi-year timeline that often accompanies new program development and curricular revisions. Their final report offers recommendations in three key areas:

Streamlining NOP/PNOI processes, including eliminating the PNOI step for undergraduate programs and adding clear checklists for schools.

Strengthening tri campus coordination, including a proposed Curriculum Coordination Council and a Faculty Curriculum Advocate role.

Improving step by step transparency, with a single shared stakeholder feedback period and clearer role definitions throughout the process.

Together, these recommendations aim to increase clarity, support collaboration, and reduce unnecessary delays in the curricular path.

What’s Next?
The report is intended to launch broader campus discussion this year.
