Learn about the steps you need to take to receive the money from your financial aid package and to learn how to pay for your expenses using your aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/osfa\/afteraward\/receive.your.aid.html\">UW Guide to Receiving Aid<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Direct Deposit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enroll online to use direct deposit to have your funds automatically deposited into your bank account as soon as they become available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/f2.washington.edu\/fm\/sfs\/node\/118\">UW Direct Deposit Guide<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Aid Revision Requests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to be considered for an adjustment in your financial aid award because of decreased resources and\/or a change of circumstances, you may submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/financialaid\/forms-2\/\">Revision Request: Regarding a Change in Financial Situation.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you incur expenses during the current school year that will exceed the standard budget used by our office, you may complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/financialaid\/forms-2\/\">Revision Request: Additional Expenses<\/a>. For study abroad, please use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/financialaid\/forms-2\/\">Revision Request: Study Abroad\/Exploration Seminar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Aid Information Release<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like your Financial Aid information to be released to a parent or guardian you must fill out and submit the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/sdb.admin.washington.edu\/sisStudents\/uwnetid\/release.aspx\">Student Information Release request.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several different components to receiving your financial aid.
