You do not need to know your Student Aid Index (SAI) when using the calculator as your SAI will be estimated using the Net Price Calculator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is useful to have these documents or amounts ready before you use the calculator:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The federal income tax returns filed by the student and the student\u2019s parent(s) from <strong>two years\u2019 ago<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The W-2 forms and\/or pay stubs with year-to-date information for the student and parent(s) from <strong>two years\u2019 ago.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current value of assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;By using this calculator, you are <strong>NOT<\/strong> applying for aid. If you prefer a more detailed SAI calculation, you may use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/aid-estimator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Student Aid Estimator<\/a>. The estimated values produced by this calculator are not the actual amounts students will be offered. All estimates are subject to the availability of funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International students can use the net price calculator to get an estimate of the cost of attendance. For more detailed information about expected expenses as an international student please see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iss.washington.edu\/annual-expenses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Student Service\u2019s website<\/a>.
