If you are a new first-year student, you&#8217;ll learn how to join the Developmental &amp; Youth Studies major once you meet the minimum declaration requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50 is-style-dark-gold-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/admissions.uwb.edu\/manage\/login?realm=&amp;r=*register*SES-MajorDeclarationForm\">Submit a UW Bothell application<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"returning-student\">Returning Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You are considered a returning student if you have not been enrolled for more than one quarter (excluding summer quarter). The returning student process, please email an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/education\/undergraduate\/advising\">SES advisor<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/admissions\/apply\/other-student-types#returning\">Returning Student Request Form<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for form to be processed by the UW Bothell Registrar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once readmitted to UW Bothell, meet with your <a href=\"\/education\/advising\">SES advisor<\/a> to co-develop an updated academic plan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight-paragraph\">If you are a returning Educational Studies majors who wants to return to UW Bothell as a Developmental &amp; Youth Studies major, please contact an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/education\/undergraduate\/advising\">SES advisor<\/a> to plan for your return and eventual major change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"deadlines\">Declaration Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">SES welcomes pre-major students and current UWB students to the Developmental &amp; Youth Studies major throughout the academic year.
