Diversity Center hosts a second location for the Husky Food Pantry in the Diversity Ceter (UW1-191A). The pantry is available to all individuals. There are no check-in procedures. We only ask that you record how much you have taken and any recommendations and feedback.
Husky Village Location
The original Husky Food Pantry is located in Husky Village Community Center. Husky Pantry is a food pantry that can be accessed by any student, housing resident or non-resident, who is facing food insecurity. This Husky Pantry can be accessed 24/7 by asking the Community Assistance (CA) at the front desk to open it during business hours or by calling the Resident Assistant (RA) on duty at 206-245-5536 after hours.
Donations to Husky Pantry are always welcome! To donate non-perishable food donations, please visit the Husky Village Community Center or the Student Diversity Center (UW1-173) during business hours. Commonly requested items include:
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Canned soup/chili
- Peanut butter
To donate money to the Husky Pantry fund, please visit any of the cafes on campus and look for the “Husky Pantry Donation” cups near the cash registers. We appreciate all donations from the community. Please contact the Diversity Center at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 425-352-5030 to help with any questions or to coordinate delivery.
