How Do I Get a Zoom Account?

Everyone at UW is already set up with a free Basic account. To access your account and begin using it, go to the UW Zoom website, login with your UW email address, and install the Zoom browser plugin. You need to login into your account to set up a meeting, invite participants and record a meeting. The basic or free account has a 40-minute limit.

The UW Single Sign-On (SSO) Pro accounts are now available for a yearly fee paid to UW-IT Seattle of $48/user, automatically renewed each year. For more information, go to the IT Connect UW Zoom Videoconferencing page.

To request UW Zoom accounts, submit the Zoom Conferencing order form, include the department budget number that will pay for the annual fee and the NetIDs of the designated users. The order form also lists all of the available add-ons and corresponding yearly pricing.
