Cultural Studies Portfolios
Throughout the program students develop the Cultural Studies portfolio, a collection of student work and related reflective materials that displays key moments of learning and charts development over time.
One component of the portfolio, the capstone project, focuses on a well-defined research question or problem. The scale of the capstone varies from student to student and the final form of the project should meaningfully relate to the student’s individual research questions, preferred methodologies, professional goals, and collaborative partnerships.
Belowis a sampling of student portfolios completed in the Cultural Studies program. These represent a range of topic, scale, and depth and are meant to serve as an example of the type of work our students do.
