{"id":424,"date":"2025-04-16T16:21:26","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T16:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/cosee\/?page_id=424"},"modified":"2026-01-07T22:28:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:28:32","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/cosee\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement (CoSEE) at the University of Washington Bothell is a university-led research and learning unit that operates at the Environmental Education and Research Center (EERC) in Saint Edward State Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CoSEE supports interdisciplinary research around supporting just and thriving socio-ecological systems, focusing on sustainability, environmental justice and community resilience. Through participatory research, education and outreach, CoSEE brings together scientists, educators and community members to develop solutions that promote ecological health and social well-being in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through initiatives such as field studies, community science programs, and creative, place-based practices, CoSEE provides hands-on opportunities to engage with urgent environmental and social issues in the Bothell-Kenmore-Kirkland area\u2014and beyond. Our work supports not only scientific inquiry but also inclusive, community-led action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting student research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CoSEE is proud to support undergraduate research and capstone projects for students from both UW Bothell and UW Seattle.
