Along with the debut of the Environmental Education and Research Center<\/a>, Dr. David Stokes leads his class to study the natural system and biodiversity hidden in urban parks. He hopes to remind the community about the value of diverse habitats and biodiversity preservation through engaging with nearby natural resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community-Engaged Learning and Research (CELR)<\/a> provides several research opportunities for UW Bothell students to collaborate with campus and community programs. The courses focus on creating hands-on, reflective, and skill-building experiences for students to apply theory to practice, develop professional experience, and contribute to the public good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
