Global Initiatives is responsible for developing and implementing an internationalization strategy for UW Bothell, including expanding study abroad, internationalizing the curriculum, developing intercultural competence, advising on international fellowships, highlighting the global dimensions of diversity, encouraging global engagement locally, and managing institutional partnerships worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intercultural competence and cultural humility are crucial frameworks and skillsets for successfully managing a diverse classroom or team. Our collaborative toolkit offers definitions, tools and activities to support instructors and facilitators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, our campus welcomes Huskies from around the world. The office of International Student Services guides students from the application process through orientation with the Orientation & Transition Program (OTP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
