UW Bothell students research specific animals and collaborate with graphic design students at Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa in Per\u00fa to design the posters. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/premajor\/first-year\/discovery-core\/autumn-dcx\/urban-life-and-nature\">Learn more about the Urban Life and Nature course.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BBUS 221 \/ BIS 201: Introduction to Macroeconomics<\/strong>, taught by Codrin Nedita (Business) \u2013 In collaboration with Business students from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, participants in this course will analyze key macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP growth, inflation, and unemployment, and collaboratively reflect on how macroeconomic policy responses differ between the two countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previous COIL courses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in 2014, the following UW Bothell courses have implemented Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) modules, linking UW Bothell students with a group of learners in a different part of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Current COIL courses Each academic year, UW Bothell courses in various disciplines offer the opportunity for students to connect with peers in a different part of the world through virtual exchange.
