UW Bothell faculty members are invited to participate in the annual commencement ceremony. Your participation as faculty is key to the success of the ceremony and you are strongly encouraged to attend!

I’m a faculty member at UW Bothell and would like to participate in Commencement. How do I sign up?

Please notify us via uwbgrads@uw.edu if you would like to participate with your own regalia. The regalia rental period has ended.

You can also volunteer to work at the ceremony: taking tickets, checking-in students, escorting students to the field, etc.

Is there a training?

Faculty are not provided a training but are provided detailed instructions and information prior to the ceremony.

When do I arrive?

Please arrive by 12:00 p.m. Be sure to allow plenty of time for travel, finding a parking spot, and walking to T-Mobile Park. Your timeliness is essential to the success of the day. Refreshments will be provided.

Where should I park?

Parking is available at the Mariners Parking Garage on Edgar Martinez Way.

Where do I go on Commencement Day?

When you arrive on Commencement Day, you are asked to enter T-Mobile Park through the Media Entry (directly across from Mariners Parking Garage on Edgar Martinez Way). Here you will check in and be directed to the faculty room or stage party room.

Is lunch provided?

Yes, lunch is provided. The faculty room will be located at the Visitor’s Clubhouse in T-Mobile Park.

How long is the ceremony?

There ceremony is expected to be 3 hours long.

What do I wear?

You represent UW Bothell, so please dress appropriately. Business casual attire is preferred. If you are participating in the ceremony you must wear regalia.

Hooding Ceremony

Please notify us via uwbgrads@uw.edu if you would like to participate with your own regalia. The regalia rental period has ended.

Faculty should arrive by 10:00 a.m. at Cascadia College CC 102/110 for robing and line up.

Processional begins at 11:00 a.m. and the ceremony should conclude approximately 12:00 p.m.
