{"id":24582,"date":"2026-08-21T16:00:43","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T16:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/?page_id=24582"},"modified":"2026-10-21T22:41:05","modified_gmt":"2026-10-21T22:41:05","slug":"strategic-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/strategic-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Strategic Plan 2027-2031"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following a year of extensive campus engagement in the strategic planning process during academic year 2025-26, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/33\/2026\/10\/UW-Bothell-Strategic-Plan.pdf\">UW Bothell\u2019s Strategic Plan 2027-2031<\/a> was introduced at the annual Fall Kick Off for faculty and staff on Sept. 23, 2026, marking an important transition from planning to implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff and faculty were invited to review the plan\u2019s four strategic priorities and reflect on how they will contribute to advancing them. Participants considered whether their role would be as a direct contributor leading implementation efforts, an indirect contributor providing important support or as a fan who will support and encourage the work across campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through small group discussions, faculty and staff explored the priorities and strategies, shared questions, and identified key considerations for successful implementation. <a href=\"https:\/\/uwnetid.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/r\/sites\/uw_bothell_strategic_plan\/Shared%20Documents\/Forms\/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2Fuw%5Fbothell%5Fstrategic%5Fplan%2FShared%20Documents%2FUW%20Bothell%20Strategic%20Plan%20%2D%2D%202026%20Fall%20Kick%20Off%20feedback%20summary%2Epdf&amp;parent=%2Fsites%2Fuw%5Fbothell%5Fstrategic%5Fplan%2FShared%20Documents&amp;p=true&amp;share=cQo3QKFzyJT9TLq3s4U1l6dHEgUBkhqmtUwOku60lkgKajtBGA\">Read a summary<\/a> of some of the new ideas and insights that emerged from those conversations (NetID required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as the strategic planning process was built through collective effort, bringing the plan to life will require ongoing collaboration and engagement from the entire campus community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The success of the Strategic Plan will depend on all our faculty, staff and students, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/advisory-groups\/cabinet\/\">Cabinet<\/a> serving as a conduit to share questions and ideas, progress and roadblocks as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Throughout the year, the campus community will receive updates on implementation efforts \u2014 as well as opportunities to contribute to this work.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following a year of extensive campus engagement in the strategic planning process during academic year 2025-26, UW Bothell\u2019s Strategic Plan 2027-2031 was introduced at the annual Fall Kick Off for faculty and staff on Sept. 23, 2026, marking an important transition from planning to implementation.
