We offer guidance to students on the legislative process and help them prepare for meetings with state legislators.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We collaborate with ASUWB\u2019s Director of Legislative Affairs, who leads advocacy efforts on behalf of the student body. The responsibilities of the Director of Legislative Affairs include promoting ASUWB\u2019s approved legislative agenda during the legislative session, organizing student participation in the annual Huskies on the Hill lobby day, and coordinating civic engagement initiatives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voter Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-3-font-size\">Ballot Drop Box\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>King County Elections has installed a secure ballot drop box on campus outside the Activities &amp; Recreation Center. This drop box accepts ballots until 8 p.m. on election days.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-3-font-size\">Student Engagement Hub \u2013 Replacement Ballot Printing on Election Day\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On general election days, UW Bothell operates a nonpartisan Student Engagement Hub on campus. Registered voters can use the computer workstations in the hub to access an online portal and print official replacement ballots. Once completed, ballots can be sealed in replacement envelopes provided by King County Elections and deposited in the secure drop box outside the Activities &amp; Recreation Center. Please note that state law prohibits electioneering \u2014 or active voter persuasion of any kind \u2014 within 100 feet of the Student Engagement Hub to maintain a fair and neutral voting environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of Government Relations partners with the Associated Students of UW Bothell (ASUWB) to support student engagement in the legislative process in Olympia.
