{"id":16720,"date":"2020-02-18T08:43:50","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T08:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=16720"},"modified":"2023-07-14T16:25:56","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T16:25:56","slug":"implementation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/chancellor\/strategic-plan\/implementation\/","title":{"rendered":"Multi-year implementation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Implementation of UW Bothell\u2019s new strategic plan is a multi-year process that begins in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A cross-campus group, composed of key leaders and stakeholders, will coordinate work that advances the plan\u2019s three key priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group\u2019s coordination work involves two spheres: those activities and initiatives of individual campus units and those that involve the broader campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following tasks will be a high priority in the first several years of the plan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prompt units to articulate and\/or align their respective strategic plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define targets for metrics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leverage targets for well-established priority areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a timeline in which to devise a structure for managing Cross-Disciplinary Teaching and Scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charge the Community Engagement Council to propose a structure of managing and operationalizing campus engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish a campus-wide funding initiative around teaching and\/or scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-box-shadow is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Annual assessments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Annual report of campus, unit and council alignment with and progress toward advancing priorities \u2014 with Chancellor\u2019s Cabinet review and discussions regarding progress we have made and structural obstacles that hinder advancement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annual update to campus metric dashboard noting previous year\u2019s progress as well as narratives of impact that chart, qualitatively, our progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Implementation of UW Bothell\u2019s new strategic plan is a multi-year process that begins in 2020.
