Expanding Access, Achieving Excellence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

UW Bothell\u2019s strategic plan \u2014\u00a0“Expanding Access, Achieving Excellence” \u2014 was launched in January 2020 and identified three areas of priority to help guide our investments and activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Strengthen Diversity and Equity<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enhance Community and Campus Engagement<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Advance Cross-Disciplinary Teaching and Scholarship<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    A fourth priority was added later to nurture the culture of sustainability that permeates our award-winning campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As work on the plan was coming to a close in academic year 2022-23, four working groups<\/a> (one for each of the strategic plan\u2019s four priority areas)\u00a0were asked to…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. assess accomplishments and inventory progress towards key indicators to date;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. identify activities, learnings and adaptations that should be celebrated; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. recommend next steps for consideration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      These working groups, after an extensive amount of consultation and work with various campus stakeholders, submitted their final reports to the Office of the Chancellor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The final reports were shared with the UW Bothell campus community in spring 2024, and faculty and staff were invited to contribute to a campus discussion by offering feedback through surveys, participating in online discussions for each of the priority areas, and submitting questions and comments to be addressed at a campus event held in May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In 2025, UW Bothell will launch a new strategic planning process in consultation with faculty, staff and student leadership. Additional details will be forthcoming soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
