Washington Campus Coalition for the Pubilc Good sponsors the Chancellor's Student Civic Leadership awards. As a Washington Campus Coalition for the Pubilc Good member institution, we have the opportunity to recognize and award two of our student civic leaders. The Chancellor’s Student Civic Leader Award recognizes students that are addressing critical issues on their campuses and in their communities through service and social entrepreneurship.
Students are nominated by faculty, staff, students, community partners, or can self-nominate for consideration by their institution’s president. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for nomination.
Student Nominee Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good institution as a graduate or undergraduate student
- Has demonstrated civic engagement through social entrepreneurship, service, advocacy, campus clubs/organizations, volunteering, and/or work-study positions
