More important scientific research from UW Bothell

UW Bothell researchers continue to question the answer by producing ground-breaking work that make significant contributions to the world. The latest discovery comes from Professor Pierre Mourad in the School of STEM.  He was part of a team of researchers from UW Bothell, UW Medicine and the Seattle Children’s Research Institute that recently published a paper in the journal Autism Research. Here's the key finding: "For children with autism and a class of genetic disorders, exposure to diagnostic ultrasound in the first trimester of pregnancy is linked to increased autism severity."
It's a big deal to have a paper published by a scientific journal and to further receive national attention. Congratulations to Pierre and the entire team for their important work.
