The Office of Admissions at UW Bothell has an exciting opportunity for you to join the student ambassador program. We are looking for energetic, responsible, organized, friendly, and confident students with strong communication and leadership skills to join the team.

Student Ambassadors are responsible for representing the University through providing daily campus tours, group tours, general customer service to prospective students, current students and the general public both in-person and on the phone, prospective student data entry, general office tasks and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide informative, accurate, engaging and memorable walking tours of campus to prospective students, families and other groups
  • Work with diverse populations and provide excellent customer service
  • General office work: data entry in SLATE (student database), answering phones, scheduling advising appointments, assisting in-person visitors, opening mail, making copies, compiling mailings, update social media accounts, and other duties as assigned
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Assist with other admissions recruitment, outreach projects, and events as needed
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • Occasional weekend event coverage is required
