Process Chemistry Intern

Process Chemistry Intern

Seattle Genetics - Bothell, Washington

The process chemistry (PC) group is seeking a motivated and productive student intern to carry out process research on key reactions that could be used in next generation drug-linker manufacturing. PC group develops and oversees the manufacturing of drug-linkers and small molecules to be used in clinical trials or for commercial use. SGD-5088 project team is interested in further improving the current manufacturing of our drug-linker. In particular, the intern contributions will be focused on improvements for the preparation of key GMP raw materials with high chemical and chiral purity, and model studies of key reactions, allowing the PC group to increase their process understanding. If successful, results could apply to multiple drug-linker projects at Seattle Genetics.

Seattle Genetics summer internship program is designed to offer opportunities to students who are interested in exploring the biotech industry and building their scientific skills.
