Organization Description: 

The Philips Emergency Care and Resuscitation focuses on products in the following areas: Advanced life support solutions, Automated external defibrillators (AED), HeartStart products. 

Your Responsibilities: 

The Regulatory Affairs Intern will work within the Emergency Care and Resuscitation team in Bothell, Washington for a 3 month appointment (summer 2017). The Regulatory Affairs Intern will work with the regulatory team to support international license renewals/updates and maintain regulatory files and tracking databases. This position is full time (40 hours per week) for the summer. 

Your Profile: 

  • Working towards Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree, preferably in Regulatory Affairs and/or a science or engineering related field.
  • General knowledge of medical device regulations (21CFR), FDA law, MDD, other global laws and regulations and standards, including ISO14971, IEC 60601 and related particular standards.
  • Requires strong written, oral and interpersonal skills 
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and perform with accuracy and a high attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
