Living-Learning Community Peer Instructors

Living-Learning Community Peer Instructors

We are hiring for Living-Learning Community (LLC) Peer Instructors. Each Living Learning Community will have approximately 30 students who will live together in campus housing and also have common courses together.  Each Peer Instructor will partner with faculty to create monthly, co-curricular events throughout the academic year.  In addition, they will assist in facilitating a 2-credit seminar in the fall and winter quarters on student success strategies.  This is an ideal position for students interested in serving as a mentor to UWB first year students, who are passionate about supporting others, and possibly teaching in K-12 or at the college level someday. If you are interested in gaining teaching experience, peer mentorship, further developing your leadership, and giving back to the UWB Bothell community – then this is a great opportunity for you! This commitment will begin with Spring 2017 training and will then continue on as a paid position for Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter during the 2017-2018 academic year. The position pays a quarterly stipend.
