Our team is looking for a software engineer to help bring these experiences to new mobile devices, improve the user experience, meet enterprise and operator requirements and address top end user feedback. In this role, you will deliver features and fixes in Calling & Messaging and drive front-end UI (design, performance, reliability) tasks as well as back-end (battery efficient protocol, synchronization, latency). You will work with other developers to ensure the correct dependencies and APIs are in place to enable our scenarios. Candidates must have a proven track record as a developer delivering complete, high-quality design and implementation and an aptitude for driving features across divisions and groups. Technical passion, cross-group partnership skills, and design are the most important competencies. In addition, you should deal well with ambiguity and have the ability to define clear goals and keep them in focus. Prior experience with embedded systems or cellular services is not required, but would be an asset. Responsibilities Deliver features, functional tests & bug fixes within the Calling & Messaging UI and protocol stacks.

Participate in improving the overall Calling & Messaging code base and team efficiency. Work closely with program management, design, and collaborate with partner teams. Address user feedback, add and monitor telemetry with ongoing app & OS flights. Provide design & code review feedback to other members of the development team.


  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of relevant software development experience in C++, C#, or Java and object oriented design.
  • This product will involve working closely with internal and external teams so good collaboration and communication skills are required.
  • Strong technical problem solving skills and dealing with ambiguity. Experience with Android, iPhone or comparable mobile operating systems would be an asset.
