Student Office Assistant – Fiscal Track
Office of Academic Affairs - UW Bothell
This position provides support to the Office of Academic Affairs at UW Bothell. The student assistant will perform a variety of budget and fiscal office tasks related to ordering and inventorying office supplies, reconciling Academic Affair’s budgets, and general office support
General Information:

This position is 15 – 19.5 hours a week

Work Study eligible, but not required

$15/hr. depending on experience
General Duties:
-
Assist Academic Affairs staff with administrative tasks related to office maintenance and support, including:
-
Assist the Program Coordinator in the reconciliation of Academic Affairs’ 34 budgets
-
Order and receive office supplies for Academic Affairs and Institutional Research staff
-
Scheduling meetings with various campus constituents (deans, directors, faculty and students) and reserving rooms on campus
-
Performing office general office tasks including: electronic and postal mailings, data entry, filing, copying, scanning
-
Providing excellent customer service for visitors at the Beardslee Crossing front desk
-
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

Strong communication and writing skills
-
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
-
Willingness to learn and adaptable to change
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
-
Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Customer service experience
-
Able to walk or transport from Beardslee Crossing to UW Bothell campus, Husky Hall, and Beardslee Building
-
Able to lift heavy packages and supplies of 10-20 lbs.
