We welcome currently enrolled undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS) level students to participate in 6-month paid Co-op opportunities at our sites across the US. Ultrasound Research & Development: Automation Engineer Co-Op

Your Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of a senior engineer, you will design, implement and execute automated tests for ultrasound systems. You will own the delivery of a software automation project developing requirements, the design approach, and any associated SW components including documentation. Development will be completed in a Windows environment with pattern-oriented C#, and proprietary SW automation scripting.

Your Profile:

  • Enrolled in a BS/MS program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with programming languages (e.g. C++, C#), design and coding
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
