The Bothell City Council approved the University of Washington Bothell / Cascadia College Campus Master Plan on November 14, 2017.
The final approval of the Campus Master Plan from the UW Board of Regents and the Cascadia College Trustees has been received.
The University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College are co-located on a 132 acre campus situated northwest of the I-405/SR 522 interchange. Of the total land area, 58 acres are preserved in wetlands, leaving a development area of 74 acres.
In June 2016, the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College embarked on what is expected to be a yearlong process to produce a joint campus Master Plan.
This process will allow the two institutions -- in collaboration with the City of Bothell, community members, and neighbors -- to develop a comprehensive approach to campus growth. We will engage in a thoughtful process that evaluates enrollment projections, facility needs, and environmental and traffic impacts, to produce a document that will guide the future development of our campus.
We look forward to working with our many stakeholders to preserve the integrity of our campus and our community while continuing to provide the highest quality education to our area’s college students.
This website is designed to address questions about the Campus Master Plan and encourage community and campus participation in the Master Plan process. It will be updated on a regular basis.
