Dr. Solmaz Batebi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Solmaz Batebi received her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). She has over six years of professional experience at the Tehran Stock Exchange, where she worked in market surveillance, research and development, and investor education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batebi’s expertise lies at the intersection of finance and machine learning, and her teaching emphasizes coding skills \u2014 particularly using Python for financial applications such as derivatives and investment analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Batebi’s research applies machine learning and causal inference methods to investigate unresolved questions in behavioral finance and risk management. She also explores topics in green finance, with a particular focus on the role of corporate social responsibility in mitigating risk during periods of financial distress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
