Through this structured, high-impact program, students are matched with experienced professionals who provide critical career mentorship sessions and ongoing professional guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over several months, students work one-on-one with their mentors to build clarity around their goals, develop networking and communication skills and gain insight into real-world business challenges. The program not only enhances career readiness \u2014 it cultivates confidence, leadership and a lifelong mindset of growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognizing Mentors of the Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two outstanding professionals were recognized as Mentors of the Year, nominated by students whose academic and professional journeys were deeply impacted by their mentorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Philip Drammeh, principal group technical program manager at Microsoft<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Drammeh\u2019s mentorship is marked by unwavering dedication, strategic insight and a deep belief in the potential of every student he supports. His belief in me helped me believe more in myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drammeh\u2019s ability to lead with empathy, show up consistently, and champion each student\u2019s individual journey earned him high praise and heartfelt appreciation from mentees across the program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPhilip is the kind of mentor who not only helps you grow but also reminds you why your growth matters,\u201d Nuguse said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u2019Laina Boynton, research lead and strategy lead for digital transformation at AIM Consulting Group\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Known for her consistency, warmth and intentional leadership, Boynton has made a profound impact on the students she mentors through the Mentorship EDGE program. Boynton\u2019s approach is rooted in care, reflection and a sincere commitment to guiding others with integrity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never had a mentor as consistent, caring and committed as D\u2019Laina,\u201d mentee Helen Fessahaie said. \u201cHer unwavering support and personal mentorship have made a lasting impact, and I sincerely hope she continues guiding others in the years to come.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Honoring Mentees of the Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, ten students were recognized as Mentees of the Year for their commitment to growth, their professionalism and their engagement in the mentorship experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Andrew Lin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dawit Nuguse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geraldine Muyumba<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kaylie Heshmati<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leelty Tadele Abreha<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leslie Vasquez<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maria Pledger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nishita Mudaliar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sai Kanishk Bathina<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shiji James<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These mentees embraced every opportunity to learn from their mentors, sought honest feedback, and demonstrated the resilience and initiative that defines strong future business leaders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to all awardees and thank you to the many mentors who generously give their time and insight; your guidance helps shape the next generation of business professionals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply to be a mentor or mentee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested in joining our Mentorship EDGE program?
