In a world where technological advancement is rapidly shaping our future, the School of Business recently hosted a thought-provoking event titled “Responsible Business Innovation In the Era of AI.” Spearheaded by Mr. Aaron Reich, the Chief Technology Officer of Avanade, the event delved deep into the intersection of technology, business, and ethics. The student supply chain management club and the Biz AI club worked hard to help support this event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His journey from spending endless hours on his family’s Apple IIC computer to leading Avanade’s technological strategy showcases his passion for technology and its potential to positively impact society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avanade, as a leading provider of digital services across the Microsoft ecosystem, embodies innovation and responsible business practices. With a focus on sustainability and empowering underrepresented communities, Avanade stands at the forefront of driving meaningful change in the digital landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, hosted by the School of Business along with the Supply Chain Management club and the Bizai Club, saw enthusiastic participation from students who were eager to learn and engage with the topic. Throughout the event, Aaron shared insights into the history of the World Wide Web, highlighting the rapid pace of technological advancements. Drawing parallels between the iPod’s inception in 1979 (and eventual debut in 2001) as well as the rapid progression of AI, Aaron underscored the need for adaptability in navigating the evolving technological landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
