{"id":5791,"date":"2013-01-28T16:36:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-28T16:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=5791"},"modified":"2025-06-17T12:50:45","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T19:50:45","slug":"how-to-apply","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/business\/undergraduate\/bachelor-of-business-administration\/admissions\/how-to-apply","title":{"rendered":"How to apply"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight-paragraph-large\">One application to UW Bothell and the B.A. in Business Administration Major<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All <a href=\"\/business\/undergraduate\/admission-requirements\/prerequisite-courses\">business prerequisites<\/a> must be completed prior to beginning the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transfer students:<\/strong> 60 transferable credits must be completed prior to application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Check application deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First-year student<\/strong> <a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/application-dates-deadlines#FY-deadlines\">application deadlines<\/a> for consideration our Direct First-Year Admit (DFA) program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transfer, post-baccalaureate, returning, and internal student<\/strong> <a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/application-dates-deadlines#transfer-PB-returning\">application deadlines<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We review applications received and\/or completed before the application deadlines on a quarterly basis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Complete an application form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer students (includes current UW Seattle and UW Tacoma Students)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Domestic Students:<\/strong> submit the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\">Application for Transfer Admission<\/a>&nbsp;to the University of Washington Bothell online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/international\">International F-1 Students<\/a>:<\/strong> Submit the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\">Application for International Transfer<\/a>&nbsp;Admission to the University of Washington Bothell online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Refer to the ISS&nbsp;<a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/international\/transfer\">requirements and checklist page<\/a>&nbsp;for complete details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Returning UW Bothell Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you were previously enrolled at UW Bothell, submit&nbsp;<a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Returning Student Application<\/a>&nbsp;to the University of Washington Bothell online. Returning students will also need to submit an updated personal statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current UW Bothell Students (pre-majors) &#8211; submit online to School of Business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into the <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.uwb.edu\/manage\/login?realm=&amp;r=\/apply\">Internal Application<\/a>\u00a0using your UW email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Complete supplemental application requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit all materials to UW Bothell Admissions Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A. Submit&nbsp;transcripts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Current UW Bothell (Pre-Major)&nbsp;Students:<\/strong>&nbsp;Provide one<strong>&nbsp;unofficial&nbsp;<\/strong>transcript from each college or university you have attended, including your UW transcripts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transfer Students:<\/strong>&nbsp;Provide&nbsp;<strong>official&nbsp;<\/strong>transcripts from each college or university you have attended with your application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All&nbsp;<strong>official transcripts<\/strong>&nbsp;can be sent&nbsp;to the address below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>University of Washington Bothell<\/strong><br>17927 113th Ave NE <br>Box 358500<br>Bothell, WA 98011<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/admissions\/faq#transcripts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transcripts FAQ<\/a>&nbsp;for additional information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B. Submit personal statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prepare a personal statement (no more than two pages double-spaced) that addresses each of the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your preparation and motivation to pursue a degree in business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your ability to contribute to the educational experience of other students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other factors that you would like the Admissions Committee to consider (i.e., academic or personal challenges).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C. Additional information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete applications received by the application deadline will be assured of a review; complete applications received after the application deadline will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
