CSG International <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Johnson is an experienced technology executive leader at CSG International who has grown profit 15%, currently leading global software development and customer delivery, along with product portfolio \u2013 spanning a team of 200+ in a $1.2B global organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 20+ years of experience, 15 of which in leadership roles, David has led organizations in large and small companies alike \u2013 IBM, Sungard, Dimension Data to name a few \u2013 driving technology innovation and new product development, including marketing, partner development and internal organization. He specializes in identifying market opportunities and delivering customer-centric technology solutions that meet customer needs and deliver revenue for the organization. David specializes in turning around and growing businesses by leading an innovative technology vision for lean, stable growth while engaging the team through consistent and high quality execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout David\u2019s career, he has participated in multiple M&As, both doing the studies and the analysis and assisting the implementation of mergers \u2013 meeting the 12% operational cost reduction and maintaining customer SLAs. David has also launched novel SaaS platform accelerating the integration process by over 60%, realizing faster returns and enabling aggressive growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

David has found success in US and abroad. He has lived and worked in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Germany and Bangladesh to name a few. He has led global teams from all parts of the world, fusing new ideas and cultures to create a unified and success-oriented team that embraces diversity and inclusion across cultural lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David transformed CSG technology strategy from 2021-23, where he created a modular services strategy, integrating 2 home-grown SaaS platforms that added data analytics, API integration and scalable growth. He devised this strategy to enable greater customer acquisition opportunities with lower costs \u2013 investing in cloud advantages and event-driven architecture. As part of this work, David integrated team reporting and analytics, increasing development productivity 87%, and increasing the on-time project completion rate from 52% to 96%. He also tightly integrated the Sales teams with Development teams, increasing the feedback loop and training on new systems, driving an integrated sales approach and better technology communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

David regularly participates in though leadership through media appearances in blogs and journals and was featured in a podcast on innovative leaders. David earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science from the University of Missouri, followed by a master\u2019s in business administration (MBA) from City University of New York (CUNY) and a graduate certificate in data analytics from Kansas State University. At CUNY, David was recognized as class valedictorian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know I could not have achieved success without the support of many different people willing to give me a chance and show me how to be successful.
