Graduates can go on to work as buyers, operations managers, forecasting analysts among many things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Supply Chain Management Option qualifies as a STEM-designated program categorized under \u201cManagement Science\u201d (CIP Code 52.1301) on the <a href=\"https:\/\/studyinthestates.dhs.gov\/stem-opt-hub\/additional-resources\/eligible-cip-codes-for-the-stem-opt-extension\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Department of Homeland Security&#8217;s roster of STEM-designated degrees<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International students who engage in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/international-student-services\/f-1-benefits\/practical-training\/post-completion-opt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT)<\/a> can seek a 24-month extension of their initial OPT. This extension, known as a <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/www.uwb.edu\/international-student-services\/f-1-benefits\/practical-training\/stem-opt-extension__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!lfmTHbt4Fn0aSYQJskRQaR_QyBH37cZN5xkLA_xp-M3SsWimySnwo6AQh_13d0tlQS4s17Bamw$\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">STEM OPT Extension<\/a>, permits international students to prolong their employment with a qualifying employer for a combined total of 36 months of U.S. work experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements to declare the option<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students must have completed the following courses with a minimum grade of 3.0 in each course in order to declare the SCM Option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calculus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BBUS 340 \u2013 Operations &amp; Project Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(*Note: Students in the process of completing a course will not be considered for the Supply Chain Management Option until the course has been completed.
