I would like to attend the University of Washington Bothell Executive Leadership Certificate Program for Women, Inclusion and Diversity. Attached is a one-page document that explains the program.
Participating in this program will enable me to more effectively solve key business issues by sharpening my leadership skills to successfully collaborate across the organization. The program provides continuous learning and support to develop my leadership skills. It establishes a deeper understanding of the issues faced by women in business. Furthermore, it will enable me to more successfully navigate organizational practices.

The Executive Leadership Certificate Program for Women, Inclusion and Diversity will bring together key faculty, field experts, the latest research and others. It is the only one of its kind. It will enable me to develop networks both internally and externally that will be able to build relationships with others in the industry and provide for continuous learning and support.
INSPIRING AND RELEVANT CONTENT TAUGHT BY FACULTY AND EXPERTS
The Executive Leadership Certificate Program for Women, Inclusion and Diversity agenda is a powerful blend of inspiration, collaboration and education. Faculty experts from the University of Washington will share the latest research, tools, tips, and techniques for effective operational leadership as well as for effective people leadership. Field experts will provide the results of their research and/or experience that will be invaluable to my leadership development. I will be able to bring learning back to the workplace and positively impact our organization through sharing what I learn.
Over a period of 6 months, in several meetings equivalent to 12 days of training, the program will cover leading people and teams, problem-solving and decision-making, collaboration and conflict management, negotiating skills, power and influence, networking, leading inclusive organizations and navigating unconscious bias. Participants will identify an executive sponsor who will be invited to attend a special session as part of the program.
Participants also take a variety of self-assessments to learn about our own individual leadership styles and preferences. This will support my leadership self-awareness and enable me to create a leadership development plan to continue my progress after the program is completed.
COST-EFFECTIVE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Registration is less than many other industry in-depth leadership programs at $15,950 for registration by August 26, 2018. If I register at or before 3 p.m. on June 15, 2018, I get a 20% discounted price of $12,750.
