Competency Development Program for Coach Certification,
Skills for High Impact Coaching
The UW Bothell School of Business is collaborating with the Gestalt International Study Center (GISC) to offer this Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) to prepare prospective coaches to gain International Coach Federation (ICF) credentials. This is the only such program to be supported by a university in the Pacific Northwest.
Is this the right program for me?
We have meticulously designed this program for professionals, students, and leaders who desire to bring coaching skills to their organization, apply coaching skills in their work, pursue a coaching career, and/or develop a coaching practice working with individuals, leaders, and executives. It is designed to have maximum value while minimizing days out of the office.
Unlike the majority of coach certification options, this program is designed to address the unique needs of individuals, leaders, managers, internal coaches, and coaching professionals working within business, medical, non-profit, and government organizations. There is an expectation that participants have past experience in their chosen practice.
What makes this program different from other coaching certification programs?
This program encompasses 138.25 coach specific training hours that will prepare you to apply for ICF credentials with a few additional requirements.
Is this a certificate program?
When you successfully complete the program, you will receive a Coaching Certificate from the University of Washington Bothell in collaboration with the Gestalt International Study Center. The program is an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) through the International Coach Federation. Successful completion of the program will prepare you to apply for an ICF credential with a few additional requirements.
