We are accepting applications through June 2nd for fall quarter. No GMAT/GRE is required for the 2023-24 school year.

Dr. Rajib Doogar, Ph.D

Akhtar Badshah, Ph.D
Dr. Badshah is a Distinguished Practitioner at the UW Seattle in the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, and the UW Bothell School of Business, and a faculty advisor at the START Center in the Department of Global Health. He is Chief Catalyst at Catalytic Innovators Group, where he advises organizations and individuals to catalyze their strategy focused on social and philanthropic investments. He also conducts Purpose Mindset leadership Workshops with organizations to help individuals articulate their strengths and values and craft their purpose statement. 

Dr. Badshah led Microsoft’s philanthropic efforts for ten years, where he administered the company's community investment and employee contributions. He was instrumental in launching both Unlimited Potential and Youth Spark —  the company’s focus to bring digital technology to underserved international communities and youth. His most recent book Purpose Mindset: How Microsoft Inspires Employees and Alumni to Change the World, was recently published by Harper Collins Leadership. In May 2020 Dr. Badshah and his colleagues launched Restart Partners, funded by the Department of Commerce, WA State and supported by Facebook, to increase confidence in mask adoption and vaccines to restart the economy.

Dr. Badshah serves on the boards of Altruist Nonprofit Accelerator, CROP, Global Washington, Microsoft Alumni Network, the National Museum and Center for Service, Restart Partners and The Indus Entrepreneurs, Seattle Chapter. He is an accomplished artist and a doctoral graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Badshah and family are very active philanthropist in the Seattle area.

Patrick Detroit, MBA
Patrick Detroit is a Lecturer in the UW Bothell School of Business. He has a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry, with skills in Operational Planning, Quality Systems, Lean Management, Organizational Behavior & Leadership, Emergency Management, and Strategic Intelligence. He earned his MBA from the University of Washington, and is an experienced Master Black Belt.

Will Graves is currently a Director Growth Marketing Operational Excellence with HelloFresh.

Monisha Monikantarajan (MBA '16)
Monisha Monikantarajan is a Program Manager in Xbox at Microsoft, where she leads compliance initiatives for all of Xbox Game Studios to create safe and inclusive video games. She earned her MBA from UW Bothell School of Business and Bachelor's in computer science & engineering from Anna University, India. With 5+ years of experience in the video game industry, Monisha brings a wide range of expertise including data analytics, process improvement, and business strategy for video game development.  

Megan Deveau (MBA '22)
Megan DeVeau is the Assistant Director of Shared Services for the Collaboration Core within the College of Engineering, at the University of Washington, Seattle Campus. She has been with the university in several capacities for the past 11 years.

With a passion for customer service and team building, Megan has been able to leverage her MBA from the University of Washington, Bothell Campus by utilizing skills learned in the areas of team building and change management to successfully build a shared services team supporting the College of Engineering with fiscal transactions, financial reporting, and research accounting.

Over the past three years, Megan’s deep knowledge of UW systems and policy has been instrumental in her participation and input in the implementation of a new financial system for the University of Washington Academy and Medicine.

When not at work, Megan can be found hiking and spending time with her husband and four black labs.

Wilson Yeh (MBA ’19)
Wilson Yeh is currently a Global Account Manager at Microsoft where he manages 360 relationships with Microsoft’s top ISV (Independent Software Vendors) such as SAP, ServiceNow and Oracle. Wilson graduated from the University of Washington (Seattle Campus) with a political science undergraduate degree. In 2017, Wilson’s passion and curiosity to learn more about leadership, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, economics and more led him to his MBA journey through the University of Washington Bothell’s prestigious Leadership MBA program.

Currently, Wilson serves as the catalyst for Microsoft’s 360 relationship (buy from, sell to, sell with) ,ensuring Microsoft is achieving its greatest total economic value with strategic suppliers. UW Bothell’s MBA all-encompassing curriculum provided a strong foundation to Wilson’s understandings of solving for modern corporate challenges and applying a leader’s mentality to solve complex issues. His learnings and experiences from UW Bothell’s MBA program have allowed him to think holistically and at a company level to drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

To this day, some of Wilson’s closest friends and relationships were through the MBA program.

Beau Farris (MBA '22)
Beau Farris began his MBA journey during the fall of 2020 after his time in quarantine, with the intent to expand and grow during COVID. While virtual learning was difficult, he found extreme value in the program and made lasting connections along the way. 

Prior to his MBA, Beau studied and received his undergraduate degree in management and marketing with a minor in economics. He still regularly meets with his MBA cohort and stays connected to the school in any way he can. Beau is a National Account Manager and specializes in contract negotiation. He is still looking to leverage his MBA but believes that the MBA program itself has provided the tools necessary for the next steps in his professional career.

 

Current MBA Student Panelists

Anders Dowell (MBA '23)
Anders is a second-year MBA student at UW Bothell. He earned his bachelor'ss degree in geography and geographic information systems (GIS) from Western Washington University. After working as a GIS Analyst in environmental consulting, he returned to school for business, pivoting his career toward leadership and management.

Anders is currently the assistant manager at Seven Coffee Roasters Market and Cafe in Seattle. In his free time he enjoys biking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family and friends.

Victoria Hewitt (MBA '23)
Victoria is a second-year MBA student and the CEO of the MBA Association at UW Bothell. She currently works as a Brand Analyst at Global Overview, where she fuels Amazon brands with data-driven insights and recommendations for retail, marketing, and operational strategy. The bulk of her prior work experience was in bringing consumer products to market at Seattle retailers such as Nordstrom and Blue Nile.

Looking to the future, she is excited to combine her new expanded business skill set with a passion for consumer products, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.

In her spare time, Victoria likes to run outdoors and spend time with her loved ones (including her rambunctious tuxedo cat).

Keerthi K. Shenoy (MBA '24)
Keerthi is a first-year MBA student. She has an undergraduate degree in engineering and law and a graduate degree in intellectual property rights from the National Law School of India, University. She has half a decade of experience as a patent attorney in India and has worked with some of the top tech companies in the world. She is earning her MBA to pivot her career towards leadership. Keerthi looks forward to combining her new business skillset with her passion for engineering and law.

In her free time, Keerthi likes to hike through the beautiful Pacific Northwest, dance, cook, and read fiction.
