About the website
The UW Bothell website is run on Kentico, a content management system (CMS).
UW Bothell has been using Kentico since 2009.
The website exceeds 12,000 pages.
The website is a collaborative project of the Office of Advancement & External Relations, Information Technology and approximately 200 university-wide content editors.
Kentico is software that allows a person without any programming knowledge to create a robust, easy to use, and current website.Content editors maintain their website by adding content, images and other features that are already designed and available for use.
Using Kentico, University of Washington Bothell staff and faculty are able to edit their online content directly, without contacting the University's professional web staff.
Presently, UW Bothell uses Kentico CMS Version 7 and plans to update to version 10 in April of 2018.
